On March 16, 2020, the Georgia Board of Pharmacy issued a statement allowing pharmacies to compound hand sanitizer gel “given that the components are all over-the-counter products.” The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) also provided temporary permission and issued the following guidelines which are attached in the following link.  Gayco has onsite compounding and sterile IV capability in house, and this ruling will now allow us to provide interim hand sanitizer to our Gayco partners and their residents and staff during the ongoing pandemic.  If your facility requires this product, please let our customer support team know by calling 1-800-575-3160.
