Gayco Healthcare recognized Patti Ashley (R) and Gail O’Neal (L) on February 28, 2012, for 10 years of service. Bent Gay, president and owner, presented Ashley and O’Neal with a plaque to honor their service to the company. Both ladies began with the company on February 25, 2002.

Ashley and O’Neal both started as pharmacy technicians with Gayco. As the business grew the ladies were crossed-trained in other areas of the pharmacy. “In the early years, it was not uncommon for an employee to do more than one job; sometime three or four,” Gay said.

Ashley is now the coordinator of purchasing for Gayco, and O’Neal is the coordinator of medical records. Both ladies attended Heart of Georgia Technical College. Ashley and O’Neal are both certified pharmacy technicians.

“Gayco is proud to have these two ladies on our team,” Gay said.
